WHAT WE TAKE

DEMOLITION & TEAR-OUTS

Some junk is still bolted down. The deck is rotting, the shed is leaning, the playset the kids outgrew four summers ago is slowly sinking into the lawn. We tear it out and haul it away in the same trip — so you get an empty yard or a stripped room at the end of the day, not a pile to deal with later.

This is light, non-structural demolition. Two crew members, hand tools and saws, drop cloths and a broom at the end. We are honest about where that line sits, and we'd rather tell you up front than surprise you on the day.

What We Demo

  • Sheds — wood, metal or vinyl, taken down to the slab.
  • Decks & porches — boards, framing, railings and posts.
  • Fences — chain link, wood privacy, and panel fencing.
  • Playgrounds & playsets — swing sets, forts and climbers, trampolines, and basketball hoops, including the buried footings.
  • Above-ground pools — drained, cut down, and hauled, liner and frame together.
  • Hot tubs — cut down, carried out, and hauled off.
  • Concrete patios and small slabs, plus walkways and stoops.
  • Sunrooms, awnings and pergolas, plus old storage lean-tos.

Every one of these includes hauling the debris away in the same trip — the tear-out and the cleanup are one job, not two.

What We Don't Demo

  • Structural or load-bearing demolition — including anything holding up a roof, a floor, or a second story.
  • Work requiring a permit we don't hold, such as whole-building teardowns or utility disconnects.
  • Interior demolition — we don’t do inside tear-outs of walls, flooring, cabinets or bathrooms.
  • Garages and carports — detached or attached, these need a structural crew.
  • Asbestos or hazardous-material abatement — that is licensed, regulated work and it isn't ours.

If your job turns out to need a licensed structural contractor or a certified abatement crew, we'll tell you that plainly — before you've paid us a dollar. Sending you to the right people costs us a job and saves you a headache, and we'd rather do that than take on work we're not the right crew for.

HOW DEMO IS PRICED

YOU PAY FOR WHAT IT FILLS.

Demolition debris is priced exactly like the rest of our work: by the volume it fills in our truck. The labor for the tear-out itself is included in the price we quote — there is no separate hourly demo charge on top.

Concrete, brick and masonry are the exception. They're far too heavy to price by volume, so they're charged at our bedload rates instead, based on how high they fill the bed of the truck.

Demo Debris — Truck VolumeVolume pricing
  • Minimum Charge Single small items$125.00
  • 1/8 Truck Load$199.00
  • 1/6 Truck Load$268.00
  • 1/4 Truck Load$325.00
  • 1/3 Truck Load$395.00
  • 1/2 Truck Load$475.00
  • 3/4 Truck Load$595.00
  • Full Truck Load$690.00
Includes the 2-man crew, the tear-out labor, all loading, and standard disposal fees.
Concrete & Masonry — BedloadBy bed height

Concrete, brick, tile and shingles are priced by weight-safe bedload, not by volume:

  • 1/4 Truck Max Bedload$299.00
  • 1/2 Truck Max Bedload$499.00
Patios, walkways and small slabs are quoted at these rates.

Shed Teardowns

Sheds are the one job we price as a package rather than by the truckload — the teardown is most of the work, and the debris almost always fills more than the load it looks like. Shed teardowns start at $1,000, and that covers taking it down to the slab and hauling every piece away in the same trip.

Garden Shed

Wood, metal or vinyl

The standard backyard shed. Down to the slab, every piece hauled the same trip.

Workshop

Framed walls & a real floor

Bigger builds with windows, power runs and a proper floor to pull up.

Lofted Barn

Two-storey or heavy timber

Lofted barns and two-door workshops — the heaviest builds, quoted up on-site.

All shed teardownsfrom $1,000

What moves the price: a concrete slab or footings to break out (quoted at the bedload rates above), contents still inside, shingle layers, tight backyard access or no gate wide enough for a wheelbarrow, and anything wired for power that needs disconnecting first. We confirm the exact number on-site before we start — text photos of the shed and the path to it and we’ll get you close over the phone.

Every rate includes a 2-man crew, all labor, heavy lifting, loading, and standard disposal fees. Your exact price is confirmed with you in person before any work begins — and it never goes up mid-job. See the full pricing page for details.

GETTING YOUR PRICE

TEXT PHOTOS. THEN WE WALK IT.

Text us photos of the shed, deck, fence or room and you'll get a free estimate back within a couple hours, 7am–7pm. Show us the whole thing if you can — a few angles, plus anything close to it we'd need to work around.

A texted estimate is exactly that: an estimate, not a firm price. Jobs of four items or fewer can often get a firm price by text, but a demolition job is almost never four items — so demo quotes come back as an estimated range, and we confirm the exact number on-site.

That on-site walkthrough is where the real price gets set: what's underneath, how it's fastened, how far the carry is, and whether there's concrete in the mix. Your exact, no-obligation price is confirmed in writing before any work begins, and it never goes up mid-job. If the number isn't right for you, you owe us nothing and we drive away.

We also beat any written estimate from the big-name competitors — bring us theirs.
